STEAM Imaging III Begins – Welcoming ArtSci Collective Artist Elí Joteva was presented as part of the STEAM Imaging residency program hosted by Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Medicine MEVIS, Ars Electronica, and the UCLA ArtSci Center.
The event introduced interdisciplinary explorations of digital medicine, imaging technologies, and the human body through lectures, workshops, and artist presentations. Featured artist Elí Joteva discussed her project IntraBeing, which investigates the relationship between physical bodies and their virtual representations using MRI imaging and predictive modeling technologies.
The program also featured presentations by Victoria Vesna, Sabrina Haase, and Bianka Hofmann.
